Safey and Supervision at Currimundi Campus

At Currimundi Campus your child’s safety is our highest priority. Children’s safety and wellbeing is paramount and drives all decision making. From secure pin-code access and monitored security cameras at entry points to our high standard safety practices embedded in our culture. Our educators are supported and frequently undertake professional development. Currimundi Campus has clear supervision windows through the centre and use supervision plans inside and out. Each yard has a ‘supervision leader’ easy to spot in their safety vests monitoring supervision.
All educators voluntarily complete a Child Protection Course every 12 months, and also undergo Mandatory Child Safety Training every 12 months, hold valid and linked Working with Children’s Checks as well as the Childcare Register check. We use Safe Recruitment Practices to ensure each educator is at a high standard. We also work with Bravehearts by embedding the personal safety education in our program and hosting regular shows.
Our educators are also committed to provided inclusive environments where each and every child feels safe and support through respectful and meaningful relationships. Our Multicultural leader works closely with our team to ensure the centre embraces diversity, equity and belonging. We welcome every child and their family and love to share any of their traditions and experiences. This not only helps every child to feel that they belong but also encourages all children to respect, learn and celebrate differences.
